Class registration and deposit

ALL students (new or continuing) must complete a registration form and submit a $25 deposit (or full payment) prior to each class series in order to enroll. The deposit of $25 will go toward your full payment of the series.

The balance is due by the beginning of the first class unless other arrangements are made PRIOR to the class.

Continuing students will have priority in being registered for upcoming classes if registration and payment are received on or before the last class of the current series. After that date, registrations will be accepted in the order received.

Late registration is permitted the first 3 weeks of class if the class is not full. The cost for the series will be pro-rated according to which week registration occurs (week 1, 2 or 3). Exceptions will be considered after the third week of class if you have previous experience in Anusara or Iyengar Yoga and if there is still room in the class.

Cancellations, refunds and credits

Any credits or refunds will be figured based on when the cancellation is made, not based on the last class attended. Please notify Kara as soon as you can once you decide to cancel your registration.

Cash refunds are not guaranteed for cancelled classes, however, a credit for future classes can be applied if you need to cancel your registration before the end of the series. Please contact Kara for cancellation and credit/refund requests.

A $25 non-refundable, non-transferable administrative fee will be subtracted from the credit or refund.

Cancellations after the first class will receive 100% refund or credit minus the $25 administrative fee. After the second class, 75% refund or credit minus $25. After the third class, 65% refund or credit minus $25. No refunds or credits will be given after the fourth class.

Make-Up classes

You are allowed and encouraged to make up any missed classes! Missed classes can be made up during the current series in the same level or lower. Missed classes cannot be transferred to another person or carried over to a future series.

Drop-Ins/Trial Classes

You may drop-in to the classes at the same level or lower to the class you are enrolled. Single class fees apply or you may use your unlimited class pass.

If you would like to drop in to any other class after the third week of the series, please contact Kara ahead of time.

Clothing, Props and Eating

These guidelines are important to create and support an optimal experience for you and everyone around you.

It's best to wear comfortable clothes to class: t-shirts, shorts, tights or leggings. Please avoid clothes that are too tight, that may restrict free breathing. Also avoid baggy pants as they can make it hard to see leg alignment. Leave gum, shoes, and your worries at the door!

Please turn off cell phones before class or leave them at home or in your car.

Leave valuables locked in your car, as the welcome area is not locked during classes. Spacious Heart yoga is not responsible for items lost or stolen.

It's best not to eat at least 2-3 hours before class. That said, please honour your body and any health conditions that may require you to eat a light snack 1-2 hours before class.

Please do not wear heavy jewelry or strong fragrances to class. All yoga props are supplied. You can bring a towel and/or a bottle of water.
